I Love My Miele Hi Dwight - I've been meaning to write to you for a while now. I wanted to give you my warmest thanks for the personal attention you gave me while I was shopping for a new vacuum cleaner. You were committed to ensuring that I had all of the information I needed to make a good decision...and you based your recommendations on my needs, which you listened to very carefully. You were always available to answer my questions, which were many, and were sent at all sorts of odd hours. (Really, you need to take a break from work occasionally!) Bottom line, I am thrilled with my new Miele Capricorn, and with the exceptional help I received from you.
I had my eye on a Miele, but you never pushed the Capricorn, even though it was your most expensive model. Instead, you objectively described the features of various models, and made a few suggestions that might work for me based on my floors, house layout, and other "issues" (can you say short dog hairs everywhere?). I came to the conclusion, based on the detailed information you provided, to purchase a Capricorn - and I have not regretted that decision.
This vacuum is so quiet, so maneuverable, and so powerful! I cannot believe how much dirt and dog hair came out of my Berber carpets, which had been vacuumed just a few days prior with my other vacuum. It was almost embarrassing! Plus I love the Capricorn's ease of changing suction levels, turning the powerhead on and off, and putting the vacuum on standby - all right on the handle! No bending! And it's a breeze to change the powerhead to the floor tool, and vice versa. No wires to plug in, just a very easy connection, which again can be done with minimal or no bending.
At first I found the Capricorn a little difficult to use as a hand vac (for dusting, as an example), because I was disconnecting the wand and attaching the duster brush, etc. right onto the handle. Now I've discovered the ease of using the telescopic wand, and attaching the brush to it. Adjusting the length is a breeze, and it is very comfortable and versatile to use.
Thanks for the personalized help, the free shipping, and the extra warranty. I couldn't have asked for more, except maybe for someone else to do the vacuuming! But wait - my husband likes the Capricorn so much he's actually used it several times, without being asked. He has actually uttered those words a woman longs to hear..."I love this vacuum." Seriously, he said that!
Again, the point I can't emphasize enough is the positive interaction I had with you. I felt as if I had the world's best vacuum cleaner store right next door, and I could walk in any time with questions. You and the others at Griggs Vacuums are the VERY BEST...you should win an award for Best Internet Retailer, if you haven't already. I cannot think of any other website that offers the personalized attention and service you do.
